Thanks for your question: Jesus didn't sin (Hebrews
4:14-16). The Sabbath was to be kept holy under the old Testament. But there isn't
anything in the Old Testament which commanded one to attend temple worship every Sabbath.
In the New Testament we are commanded not to forsake the assembly (Hebrews 10:25). But
Jesus lived and died under the Old Testament so that would not have been a law in His
time. He did keep the Sabbath holy even while being tempted.
